"As the title suggests, this is a step-by-step guide to aspiring spiritual
mediums, which describes the best ways and means of achieving proficiency in communicating
with the world of spirits, and, more importantly, the way to transmit any other
received messages to the ‘sitter’ in a benign and humanitarian approach,
that does not cause further grief or suffering. The work is a very well presented,
in plain language, and it is easily accessible to any ordinary reader. A belief
in Spiritualism is not necessary for any reader who approaches the subject with
an open mind. The author provides convincing evidence to give even the serious
sceptic some ‘food for thought’.
The work is carefully crafted to enable the novice to follow the author’s
teaching on the preparation of the enquiring mind, firstly for an acceptance of
the fact of an afterlife, or different time dimension, and then a conditioning
of the learner's attitudes for the acquisition of any one of the several psychic
abilities, which they may be capable of mastering, although alleged ‘mastery
of the medium’ is something that the author qualifies frequently with admissions
of uncertainties in the practice. One either gets it right more often than not,
or else one does not have the necessary finely tuned abilities the author clearly
possesses.
This is an honest book, which, no doubt, any interested readers would find
valuable as an instructional guide in the way that the author describes it.
The work is well composed."
